Perfect Trinity

What is the name

with no flaw or beginning?

What never needs

and is always existing?

If something can improve,

there must be something better,

so nothing short of perfection,

could be the name that lives forever.

If perfection was nothing

but beautiful fiction,

I could never grow

in character and wisdom.

No, that which perpetuates

my virtuous living,

cannot possibly be reduced

to an absurdity within me.

The eternal truth

shown to Your most valued creation,

is that Your infinite perfection

is never changing.

Love is the greatest notion

I can dream,

so love expressed perfectly,

is the essence to Your being.

Love cannot act

without persons to inhabit.

Persons cannot love

if goodness is absent.

Goodness is constrained

without unity established.

Your radiant beauty

intertwines these aspects. Your triune nature

is maximally attractive.

Opposing wills

with broken trust

cannot unite in function,

so You trust and fulfill

Your righteous instruction.

You have unlimited capacity

to be good and true.

Your action is a masterpiece

of what perfection can do.

The reflection of Your beautiful,

eternal presence,

is Your affection to choose

Your holy excellence.

The touch of Your affection

leaves a hopeful impression,

and the grace of Your election

is my joyous confession.

Only You can preserve harmony

through absolute purity.

Only you deserve autonomy

for all of eternity.
