Where is the eye
that looks up to see more?
Where is the man
that searches for my door?
Where is the mind
that ponders in silence?
Where is the man
that longs for my guidance?
Where is the heart
that is soft and contrite?
Where is the man
that delights in the light?
Where is the ear
that heeds my instruction?
Where is the man
that lives it and trusts it?
Where is the hand
that reaches for my help?
Where is the man
that cannot help himself?
Where is the sense
that I graciously save?
Where is the man
that has faith in my name?
At last, my child
has found his way home.
To him salvation
shall be shown and known.
Where is the eye
that sees there is purpose?
Where is the man
that seeks to unearth it?
Where is the mind
that wonders how and why?
Where is the man
that explores high and wide?
Where is the heart
that wants to play a part?
Where is the man
that examines my art?
Where is the ear
that listens to prudence?
Where is the man
that tries to pursue it?
Where is the hand
that holds on to the truth?
Where is the man
that supports it with proof?
Where is the sense
that virtue is perfect?
Where is the man
that learns to discern it?
At last, revelation
awaits at my gates.
The time has now come
to show my face.
From beginning to end I’m intrigued by every verse and anticipating with hope that those who read will be so inspired to take to heart how much God desires to reveal Himself with a love that’s everlasting!
Beautifully written and expressed!
Thank you Jordan❤️❤️
