Believe in Him

If nature was not designed
to be sensed and deciphered,
then why is it studied,
considered, and admired?
If there is no definite meaning
worth believing,
then why do we humans
keep writing, talking, and singing?
If we think that our purpose
is self-made for self-service,
then we find it worth it
to pursue what is worthless.
And if we deny the truth
of what is beautiful and valuable,
then our moral foundations
become conditional and malleable.
But if we were brought into existence,
and life is a gift,
then we ought to show resistence
to the evil that persists.
Yes, if goodness is our maker,
sustainer, and savior,
then it explains why we believe
that goodness is greater.
A purposeful reality
must exist on purpose,
and understanding is a blessing,
so we must not desert it.
Yes, intuition and comprehension
bear a valuable image,
so we must deduce and discern
the truth of existence.
The truth is all around us,
but revealed deep within,
and the evidence is tremendous,
so that we might believe in Him.
